Simbiotix Ltd (www.simbiotix.co.uk) are proud to present a rare opportunity to purchase one of the most comprehensive, and the only one of its kind, H125 helicopter simulators in Europe.
 
Based on an original Elite S723 AS350/H125 simulator shell and mechanism (currently >£200,000 new), this simulator has recently been completely rewired and overhauled, using the latest interface technology and software. All electronics have been replaced and no longer require separate licenses and activation keys.
 
This simulator is now fully plug and play, future proof and easily maintainable/customisable. The main instrument panel has been redesigned and laser cut from 2mm steel for rigidity and longevity.
 
Based on the latest H125 design from Airbus Helicopters, with a mixture of configurable display options to suit most operators or students keen to learn how to fly a real H125. Almost every function of a real world aircraft has been simulated, enabling a full start-up/shut-down procedure to be performed for ultimate realism.
 
The centre console has been redesigned and built to include a modern touchscreen interface, displaying a fully operational radio stack, transponder and autopilot systems. There is also a manual dual-rotary encoder to dial in radio frequencies etc using more precise fidelity as required. Please note that all gauges/avionics systems can be tailored to suit the new owner's requirements.
 
The main control switches have been updated to an integrated 'streamdeck' system for fully customisable and mappable function buttons within the simulator. This, plus the main toggle-switch bank above the GTNs, enables the operator to take the helicopter from cold and dark (PC off!) to engine fully running and take-off within a matter of minutes.
 
The simulator uses X-Plane 11 software with a comprehensive H125 flight model and Air Manager system to display and drive all instrument panel gauges. Additional systems include a fully working VEMD/FADEC, Aspen EFD1000 and Garmin 500 TXi PFD/MFD system - all touchscreen controlled.
 
This simulator has been fully licensed for home/personal use and does not require any further license costs or annual subscriptions, but if commercial use is required, additional one-off licenses can be purchased to enable this.
 
Including an ultra-high specification PC with an RTX 4090 GPU, water cooled i7 13700k CPU, 32gb RAM and a 1kw PSU. This simulator has been designed with simplicity for the new owner in mind at every stage of the re-design process. Once the PC is powered on, the user can initiate Air Manager (for avionics systems display) and then X-Plane by pressing two of the buttons on the main switch panel (SCU). Then a new flight can be configured and flown as required.
 
There is also a separate instructor station, which allows a remote operator to control in-simulation features such as environmental changes, instigate simulated engine failures/birdstrike etc.
 
In terms of flight controls; cyclics, collectives and torque pedals are all mechanism linked to enable instant pilot/co-pilot interactions without additional operations. Each of these main flight controls can be easily adjusted to increase or decrease input force required to actuate (using adjustable gas struts).
 
The external visuals are displayed on 3 x 75" 4K screens with a custom-made bezel obscure kit to allow a more free-flowing peripheral view. A removeable roof canopy encloses the screen area to increase immersion.
 
The exterior body shell is glass-fibre composite, which has been professionally cleaned and wrapped with custom livery. The shell splits into two halves for transportation. The base is on castor wheels to aid movement of the entire simulator once installed.
 
In terms of audio, the simulator includes a full 5.1 surround sound speaker system with separate remote control and sub-woofer for a rich and immersive sound experience.
 
The simulator is based at my simulator workshop unit in Chichester, West Sussex (BN18). Delivery assistance may be possible if within a certain distance. Please get in touch to discuss options.
 
Support will be given to ensure the simulator is fully up and running at the new owner's address.
 
The fuselage dimensions are approximately: L: 2.5m, W: 2m, H: 1.75m. The widest point between screen corners is 2.3m. The screen height is fully adjustable but currently sits at around the same height as the outer fuselage.
