Replica spitfire fuselage shell with working door and sliding canopy.
Material is predominantly abs plastic (halo bulkheads, outer skin) with some plywood (seat) and metal/perspex (sliding canopy).
Interior includes gauge panel aperture plate (with monitor mounted behind) and brown leather headrest/seat cushion.
This would make a perfect VR/augmented reality simulator with not too much work required. The main flight controls, such as flight stick, throttle and landing gear can be installed using generic controllers from common stores or if the new owner wanted to add extra realism they could purchase a set of controls from the 'Spitfire Histories' online store, which is run by one of my contacts, Robert Austin.
Fuselage size is as follows: L: 2m, W: 0.94m, H: 1.35m (It fits within a Transit Custom SWB van, albeit very tightly!). Local delivery may be possible. Please get in touch to discuss options.
